Friends of the John Rylands

Formerly Professor of Romantic and Early Victorian Studies in the University of Manchester, Grevel Lindop has published extensively. His works include several volumes of poetry, a Literary Guide to the Lake District, and a biography of Thomas De Quincey. Grevel left the University to write full time in 2001. His new book Travels on the Dance Floor will be the Radio 4 Book of the Week, 11th - 14th August 2008.
