Founded in 1952, The Book Collector is the leading English-language journal on book collecting. Nicolas Barker has been the Editor since 1965. He was the first Head of Conservation at the British Library, was formerly the Libraries Advisor to the National Trust, and has written extensively on books and book collecting. He was awarded the OBE in 2002.
