    With assistance from the Friends, the library was able to purchase the missing volume of the Colonna Missal - one of the most important liturgical manuscripts of the sixteenth century.

    Delia Derbyshire was involved in several of the earliest electronic music events in England, including the shows at the Watermill Theatre, Near Newbury, the Chalk Farm Roundhouse (with Paul McCartney), The Royal Festival Hall and the first electronic music fashion show. The Friends contributed £1000 to enable the Library to purchase important papers early in 2011.
