Our new website, built, designed and kindly donated by Russ Baldwin from shoes for industry, features images from rare books in the John Rylands Library and follows our design requirements for an 'antique, book-like' site beautifully. The web space and infrastructure has been kindly donated by Roger Tully from a A Great Place.

Features

  • The new site is based on an Open Source content management system, which basically means we can make updates and changes more easily.
  • We now have an automatically updating RSS news feed. This enables you to get our updated news right in your browser, email client or other RSS reader.
  • Also a brilliant events calendar you can subscribe to and get automatically updating, upcoming FotJR events, directly in your calendar software.
  • We now have a dynamic map to the John Rylands Library with route finding and turn-by turn directions, courtesy of Google.
  • Our new website also has a high degree of accessibility, viewable in a variety of ways (see the help pages for more information,) on many different browsers including many mobile phones.
