Thanks to our members' generosity the trustees have been able to make a grant of £3000 - our largest yet - towards the purchase by the John Rylands University Library of the Elaine Feinstein archive.

This fascinating archive includes an amazing range of items, from proofs of modern masterpieces to thankyou notes from Nobel Laureate Harold Ointer, as well as a wealth of material relating to Feinstein's work as a writer and thinker.
